What it does
Calcium formate — the standard non-chloride set accelerator for cementitious systems. Improves early strength, shortens working time, and replaces calcium chloride where reinforcement corrosion is a concern.
Typical applications
- Set accelerator in tile adhesives and self-levelling mortars
- Early strength promoter in precast and shotcrete
- Hardener in dry-mix concrete repair products
- Animal feed additive (separate FCC/feed grade)
