Frequently asked questions
What Tg do I need for a tile adhesive?
Standard tile adhesives use VAE powder with a glass transition temperature of 0–5 °C. A lower Tg, −5 to 0 °C, gives a more flexible mortar for ETICS base coats and deformable adhesives.
Does RDP need REACH registration?
RDP is a polymer and is exempt from registration under REACH Article 2(9). Registration status of its monomers (vinyl acetate, ethylene) and reactants (Art. 6(3)) is confirmed for each supplier and stated on the SDS before first shipment.
Why is the shelf life only 12 months?
RDP is moisture-sensitive and can partly re-emulsify in a poorly sealed bag. Triple-layer bags with a sealed inner PE liner and first-in, first-out rotation keep it within specification.
Producers develop custom grades on request — specification band, particle size, purity, additive package.
